Shipping or Drop Off at the lab


We accept drives from all over the world. If you have any questions please give us a call. Follow the steps below for detailed instructions on starting the recovery process. We request that local clients’ call to schedule an appointment to drop off the drive(s) so that the engineer can be available to meet with you.  We are open Monday – Friday and break daily from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm.  Saturday we are open by appointment only.

We will call you after receiving the drive(s) and completing the diagnostics with the results and a firm quote to proceed.


  1. Prepare a box for shipping your drive(s).  The drive(s) should be wrapped in bubble wrap and inserted in an anti-static sleeve (if available) to optimize no further damage arising from shipping and handling.  The drive(s) should be packed tight so they don’t bang around in the box.
  2. Print and complete

    Authorization Form

    Once printed, fill it out carefully and then sign and date the bottom.
    Include this form in the shipping box along with the diagnostic fee of $68.90 including tax per drive or $106 per drive for RAID drives which can be made out to Tri-State Data Recovery in the form of a check, money order, or by using the PayPal payment option on the bottom of the page.
